Postavy SGC
Generál Jonathan Jack O’Neill
První velící důstojník týmu SG-1. Ve svých 18 letech vstoupil do armády, ukázal výborné letecké schopnosti a byl přidělen do speciálních jednotek. Když se jeho syn Charlie nechtěně zemřel, odešel z armády. Po smrti syna se rozvedl se svojí ženou a žije sám. Vedl tým, který prošel poprvé Hvězdnou Bránou na Abydos. Po několika misích přes celou galaxii a po nesčetných dobrodružstvých se stal generálem a vedl program Stargate. Po nástupu Henryho Heyese do funkce prezidenta se stal generálmajorem a nyní vede Domácí bezpečnost.
Plukovník Cameron Mitchell
Plukovník Cameron Mitchell je nadaný stíhací pilot, který byl vážně zraněn při ochraně Země před Anubisem a jeho flotilou. Po jeho plném zotavení příjmul funkci velitele jednotky SG-1. Přemluvil Daniela Jacksona, Samanthu Carterovou a Teal’ca, aby se vrátili zpět k jednotce a společně se vydali bojovat proti Oriům.
Plukovník Samantha Carterová
Brilatní a krásná plukovnice Letectva, Samantha Carterová, je geniální astrofyzička a expert na technologii brány. K Velitelství Hvězdné brány je velmi loajální a má skvělý vojenský výcvik.
Teal’c
Teal’c je mimozemšťan z rasy Jaffů. Jaffové nosí goaul’dí larvy ve svém břiše. Tito symbionti, které nosí každý Jaffa, pomáhají a udržují imunitní systém této rasy. Jejich předkové pochází ze Země.
Teal’c již symbionta nemá, používá tretonin, který vyvinuli lidé ze Země. Tretonin pomáhá Jaffům přežít bez goaul’dích larev a pomáhá stejně jako symbiont imunitnímu systému.
Když se Teal’c připojil k jednotce SG-1, musel opustit svého syna Rya’ca a svoji ženu Drey’auc. Jeho rodinu ochraňoval mistr Bra’tac, který Teal’ca učil a byl jeho mistrem.
Jeho životním cílem bylo zničit Goaul’dy a získat pro svůj Jaffský lid svobodu.
Doktor Daniel Jackson
Veterán z první průzkumného týmu na Abydos. Dr. Daniel Jackson je antropolog, lingvista a odborník na starověké a současné kultury. Mluví více než 20ti jazyky, včetně staroegypštiny. To on původně pomohl rozluštit kartuši a stál za otevřením Hvězdné brány na Zemi. Jeho „šílené“ teorie o tom, že pyramidy sloužily jako přistávací plochy pro mimozemské lodě a mnohé další se nakonec potvrdili, když společně s SG-1 prozkoumával galaxii.
Vala Mal Doran
Vala je plánující a sobecký podvodník. Získala si srdce Daniela Jacksona a později se přidala k týmu SG-1.
Generál Hank Landry
Generál Hank Landry byl odvolán z důchodu, aby nahradil svého přítele, Jacka O’Neilla, ve funkci velitele Velitelství Hvězdné brány.
Generál George Hammond
Generál George Hammond převzal velení nad Velitelstvím Hvězdné brány a všemi jednotkami hned na začátku programu od generála Westa. Je to opravdový vojenský vůdce a moudrý člověk. Pro ochranu planety a lidstva je ochoten podniknout cokoli.
Později byl povýšen na velitele Domácí bezpečnosti. Hammond zemřel na srdeční infarkt a loď třídy Daedalos byla pojmenována po něm – BC-304 George Hammond.
Jonas Quinn
Jonas Quinn je člověk z planety Langara. Poprvé se objevil v epizodě „Meridian“, v páté sezóně. Později se připojí k jednotce SG-1. Společně s Jackem O’Neillem, Samanthou Carterovou a Teal’cem se vydával do neprozkoumaných částí vesmíru a s týmem hledali další technologie na ochranu Země. Po návratu Daniela Jacksona z vyšší úrovně bytí opustil tým SG-1 a vrátil se ke svým lidem.
Doktorka Janet Fraiserová
Doktorka Fraiserová, která byla hlavní lékařkou na Velitelství Hvězdné brány, byla expert na exotické choroby. Často musela improvizovat a dělat těžká rozhodnutí, aby zachránila život mnoha lidem na základně. Doktorka byla zabita mimo Zemi, zatímco se snažila zachránit své kolegy.
